Edmonton Japanese Cultural Association (EJCA)
Edmonton Japanese Community Association is a non-profit organization serving the Japanese Canadian community and anyone who has an interest in Japanese culture in the Edmonton area.
The EJCA seeks to develop and support a vibrant Japanese community and to promote awareness of Japanese heritage and culture in Canada.
Through promoting Japanese heritage, the EJCA hosts a number of events annually including a Natsu-matsuri, Japanese language classes, and the Japanese booth at Heritage Days. Additionally, the EJCA Center hosts clubs such as Calligraphy, Ikebana, Jodo, and Shōgi.
Memberships are both very affordable and give you access to reduced fees for renting space at the EJCA center.
